By accessing, integrating, or utilizing the FaceVerify API, Dashboard, or sandbox, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read these terms carefully before registering.
Authorized Usage Only
You may only verify users who have explicitly consented to biometric identity verification.
API Limitations
API endpoints are subject to rate throttling to prevent denial of service and abuse.
Account Discretion
We reserve the right to suspend any API token or account violating compliance frameworks.
1. Account Registration and Keys
To use FaceVerify, you must register for an account on the console. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials, client IDs, and API Secret keys. Any request signed by your secret keys will be considered authorized.
2. Biometric Consent Requirements
Depending on your local jurisdiction (including European GDPR, California CCPA, or Illinois BIPA), biometric data processing requires explicit user consent. You agree that before passing any user facial image or document to the FaceVerify API, you have obtained all necessary disclosures and permissions.
3. Fees and Billing
We bill on a usage basis per successful biometric comparison request. Detailed tier rates are listed on our home page. Fees are non-refundable and will be charged to the card on file or invoiced at the end of each billing cycle.
