Last updated: June 24, 2026
At FaceVerify, we take your privacy and data security with absolute seriousness. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, and protect your information when using our biometric verification system.
End-to-End Encryption
All facial images and metadata are encrypted using AES-256 during transit and at rest.
No Vector Monetization
We never sell, rent, or share biometric templates or vectors with third-party advertisers.
GDPR & CCPA Compliant
You hold full rights to request immediate deletion of reference and verification logs.
1. Information We Collect
When you use our service, we act as a processor for biometric information uploaded by businesses using our platform. This includes:
- Reference Images: Images of verification documents or official photos submitted for comparison.
- Verification/Selfie Photos: Live capture or selfie files uploaded to perform matches.
- Biometric Math Metadata: Encrypted mathematical maps (vectors) generated by AWS Rekognition.
- Usage logs: Date, timestamp, comparison status, and API key identifiers.
2. How We Use and Process Data
We process biometric facial comparisons to provide verification results to the developer. The images are stored in a secured S3 bucket bucket mapped directly to AWS Rekognition. Face matches are processed under strict privacy controls. Reference templates are deleted instantly when requested via the console API or admin tools.
3. Data Retention Policy
By default, verification logs are stored for audit purposes. However, reference biometric templates can be deleted at any time through our console interface. For user-specific requests, or if you wish to purge all matching records immediately, contact us at the email listed below.
